Bunkhouse accommodation

The Bunkhouse is open all year round

Accommodation in the very well equipped and comfortable Bunkhouse includes free tea and coffee and a cold cereal breakfast plus bread for toast. Basic Bedding is provided consisting of a quilt plus cover a pillow plus slip matters cover and bed-sheet. Towels and extra bed sheet or sleeping bag liner are avail on request at a small extra charge of £2. Guests also have full use of the self catering kitchen for cooking their own food. Sleeps up to x14 in 1x 6pax 1x4 pax and 2x twin rooms. The Bunkhouse has a fully fitted disabled toilet on the ground floor. Please note that The Bunkhouse has limited laundry facilities available, a Laundry Service is available by calling the Laundry Lady. Exclusive use of the Bunkhouse can be booked during the autumn and winter months, and where availability allows in the summer months, for Stags and Hens Parties, Corporate away days for team building or as a base for Outdoor Training.
Dogs: 1x Friendly dog per day is permitted "only" with advanced notification in the bunkhouse and is charged at £5 per night. (Working dogs for those with disabilities are not charged)

Self catering accommodation

The Roost self catering holiday chalet is available all year round and can sleep up to 4 persons in a bedroom with a double bed plus a set of Bunk Beds. The accommodation is all on one level and has a small well equipped kitchen with a cooker and microwave. The chalet has a lovely conservatory as a sitting and dining room with views over Balmaha Bay. The Chalet makes a perfect base for exploring Loch Lomond and The Trossachs.

Bed and Breakfast

The main house is open for bed and breakfast

Balmaha House bed and breakfast has one double The Tartan Room, and one single room in the main house. the front double room overlooks Balmaha Bay and many of the southern islands of Loch Lomond. All rooms are well furnished and have en-suite bathrooms. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in each room. Unfortunately we are unable to accept dogs in the main house. The Oak Tree Inn is directly opposite the house and serves lunch and evening meals every day and is highly recommended. There is a lovely conservatory and breakfast room to relax in overlooking the bay.
